A Pilgrim in Cockaigne. A new book of Essays from the London Branch

To mark the fiftieth season of the London Branch, a book of essays being revisions of lectures given to the branch has been published.  This new set of seventeen essays has been edited by Kevin Mitchell and David Morris, has a foreward by Sir Mark Elder and contains contributions by, among others, Michael Kennedy, Robert Saxton and E. Wulstan Atkins. Titles range from Our Never-to-forgotten friend: Rosa Newmarch and The King and the Troubadour: Edward VII and Edward Elgar to Elgar’s Earnings in Context.
