The Morrison Collection

A collection of music from Elgar’s music.

What is the Morrison Collection?

The Morrison Collection is an archive of more than 800 performing editions and parts for Elgar’s music. Many are the original scores as published in Elgar’s lifetime, and others are arrangements and editions, many made by John Morrison. It is not intended to substitute for the Elgar Society Complete Edition, but rather as a supplement, an archive of scores and parts for performance as well as interest, to spread worldwide the sound of Elgar’s music. All genres are represented: Orchestral, Chamber Music, Keyboard, Choral, Songs. Military (Wind) Band, Brass Band.

All public domain music in the collection has been copied to the IMSLP website (type IMSLP Elgar into your browser) from where it may be freely accessed and downloaded. If you have music you don’t find there to add to this please contact. All queries may be emailed to johngrmorrison@hotmail.com .
