Archive

The Elgar Society has archived a considerable amount of material recording its activities promoting the life and work of Sir Edward Elgar. It is loaned to and stored in the archive at the Hive in Worcester where the archivists organise and store material so that it can be accessed by members of the public.

Examples of items archived include details of Branch meetings, concerts, programmes of talks and recitals, relevant newspaper articles, photographs and various pieces of correspondence collected over decades.

At this time, the Elgar Society archive is unable to accept any further material.

To access the Archive at the Hive, you will need to obtain an Archive Card. A guide can be found at www.archivescard.com. The Hive can be contacted on 01905 822866.
