We have various methods that you can make a payment to the Elgar Society for your membership. Please note…
Upon joining the Society members must pay the applicable subscription. Thereafter, payment of subscriptions is due on 1 January each year.
Gift Aid: Gift Aid is an income tax relief designed to benefit charities. If you are a UK taxpayer, Gift Aid increases the value of your subscription by 25% because the Society can reclaim the basic rate of tax on your gift at no extra cost to you. You are encouraged to complete the Gift Aid form linked above.
Payment Options
Standing Order
A Standing Order is the Society’s preferred method for the payment of annual subscriptions. It is an instruction to a bank by an account holder to make regular fixed payments to a particular person or organisation. This instruction only applies to the amount stated on the form and can only be changed by the person making the payment. A standing Order can be cancelled at any time.

Please send this form to the Membership Secretary at 11 Aston Court, Basin Road, Worcester, WR5 3FR. It will then be forwarded to your bank.
Personal Cheque
Personal cheques should be made payable to The Elgar Society and sent to: Mr Chris Bennett, 11 Aston Court, Basin Road, Worcester Worcestershire WR5 3FR
Online Bank Transfer
This should be made to The Elgar Society
All payments by bank transfer should include your name and/or Elgar Society membership number.
Members using this method of payment should inform the Hon. Membership Secretary that a payment has been made by letter to the above address, by e-mail to membership@elgarsociety.org or by telephone on 07957 459695
